Dishes 02:57
I don't know why The people fight amongst themselves The man in my dream he said "You'd better watch those gates, boy." Adin in my dream he said "We go now." The people of these America of the United States Are in for a big shock
2.
Waiting by the tracks For that train Gonna take me back To the sea Like a fish out of water Like a chicken lacking feed This strange town Is not for me The desert is vast and dry Tumbleweeds rolling by It's a long way into town I can make it by sundown
3.
The blue turns into grey The grey turns into black And we all know that the ocean won't be back Man's pollution Neptune's gallow A submarine attack Trees can be cut down But man can't cut down water So he fills the ocean with his waste And laughing while not caring About mother nature's fate
4.
Waking up from a dream Things aren't real as they seem Things are falling from the sky Looking up to the skies Rain comes falling down City lights get splashed away Drops rolling down my window Melting into my face
5.
Stack 04:24
What is home A place in Rome How it seems Believe me I mention Home again A house that's swamped Good Medicine's songs I am concerned With a house And with what Can live without Has two hearts Yet torn apart By seventy miles And what was smile Stack of cards Can't relate To feelings We insulate With feelings We create So we can In turn relate I am concerned With a house And with what Can live without In a home Far from Rome And I guess I guess I guess
6.
A sun needs A sun near Open eyes Realize Coming to Sunrise A place needs A place near Open eyes Realize Coming to Sunrise
7.
She Says 04:36
She enters in her mind That she must beware Of empty rooms And cold dark stares Enters in her mind What is her mind She says She doesn't want to live And she doesn't want to die She don't want to look into her mind Look into her mind What is her mind She says She's through with all her thoughts And she's through with all her dreams She just wants to fall asleep Wants to fall asleep What is sleep She says I don't want you anymore
8.
Checking out the earth from outer space Adin can see there's life on this place Adin finds a place to land On the sea, next to the sand
9.
Latest Word 04:33
I heard You followed me Into The dark You see You cried But I Didn't hear I heard You followed me Into A dream You see You died Not in my arms I heard I followed you Into The light It's true Your light I made it make me blind Couldn't see I heard I followed you Into Your sight It's true You saw That I may never find What I want But if the sun rises If the sky turns bright Tomorrow Will you take my hand Or my elbow And make me feel alright
10.
Nature's timeless beauty Is destroyed by technology Man's path of broken tears Forever harms the ecology Forever will the night fold These pages and stories told Of how man's afraid of what he feels inside Never choosing to cross the threshold
11.
In The World 02:12
In the world Is the earth And my mind Is outside Of my brain In my thoughts In the earth Of the world The existence of time Is the basis of a funny joke The nonexistence of man's laws Is what this song's all about In nature Is natural And the trees Are outside Of my house That we call home A concrete slab On the earth I breathe time

about

Treacherous Jaywalkers recorded live at Stardust, Bloomington, Indiana, 14 August 1989.

Warning: Explicit Language

Cassette recording.

Please note: the cassette recording ended before the gig ended.

Hoagy Carmichael wrote “Stardust” in Bloomington, Indiana in 1928. There were Stardust streets, drives, and avenues. Stardust tap houses, bars, grills, lounges, motels, pharmacies, gift shops. In the summer of 1989, Treacherous Jaywalkers played at the Stardust in Bloomington. It was located at 319 N. Walnut. I still have a flyer from the show. It was part of their Monday night Alternative Music Series. Bloomington’s Go Mango opened. Afterwards we drove to Athens, Ohio for the next gig. The venue’s called Kilroy’s Sports Bar now. Kilroy’s has a “Main Bar”, an “Ice Bar”, and a “Jungle” room. They have big screen TVs. There are DJ nights. I don’t think any bands play there.
