Dishes 02:22
I don't know why The people fight amongst themselves The man in my dream he said "You'd better watch those gates, boy." Adin in my dream he said "We go now." The people of these America of the United States Are in for a big shock
2.
Waiting by the tracks For that train Gonna take me back To the sea Like a fish out of water Like a chicken lacking feed This strange town Is not for me The desert is vast and dry Tumbleweeds rolling by It's a long way into town I can make it by sundown
3.
Los Tumbos 04:53
The blue turns into grey The grey turns into black And we all know that the ocean won't be back Man's pollution Neptune's gallow A submarine attack Trees can be cut down But man can't cut down water So he fills the ocean with his waste And laughing while not caring About mother nature's fate
4.
Stack 04:34
What is home A place in Rome How it seems Believe me I mention Home again A house that's swamped Good Medicine's songs I am concerned With a house And with what Can live without Has two hearts Yet torn apart By seventy miles And what was smile Stack of cards Can't relate To feelings We insulate With feelings We create So we can In turn relate I am concerned With a house And with what Can live without In a home Far from Rome And I guess I guess I guess
5.
Checking out the earth from outer space Adin can see there's life on this place Adin finds a place to land On the sea, next to the sand
6.
A sun needs A sun near Open eyes Realize Coming to Sunrise A place needs A place near Open eyes Realize Coming to Sunrise
7.
Long forgotten summer In a long forgotten past Of adults who have problems And whose lives will never last Sold out all their values For three piece suits and ties Sold out all their values For ignorance and lies Present, past, Or future tense Life is a white Picket fence That guards the memories Of an adult's mind Memories of summers past Are so sublime I've got the earth under my feet There are no words to spell defeat There is no time to have or lend Because my summers will never end
8.
Waking up from a dream Things aren't real as they seem Things are falling from the sky Looking up to the skies Rain comes falling down City lights get splashed away Drops rolling down my window Melting into my face
9.
I'm too blue And I don't know what to do The ocean blue Can I join you
10.
Nature's timeless beauty Is destroyed by technology Man's path of broken tears Forever harms the ecology Forever will the night fold These pages and stories told Of how man's afraid of what he feels inside Never choosing to cross the threshold
11.
Pave The Way 04:37
Look over yonder What do you see I see cities, factories I feel a pull, deep inside Towards the sun, to the sky I feel the earth under my feet I can hear my heart beat Now I know why I'm alive And I know that we will survive Can you see the city lights At night they do not end The last of the deer look down on this place I wonder if they see the end
12.
In The World 02:02
In the world Is the earth And my mind Is outside Of my brain In my thoughts In the earth Of the world The existence of time Is the basis of a funny joke The nonexistence of man's laws Is what this song's all about In nature Is natural And the trees Are outside Of my house That we call home A concrete slab On the earth I breathe time

about

Treacherous Jaywalkers recorded live at the Music Machine, Los Angeles, CA 16 June 1989.

Cassette recording.

The Music Machine was located at 12220 W. Pico Blvd. Not 50 feet from an adult bookstore and liquor mart. About a mile or so from McCabe’s Guitar Shop. It was closer to my house than the clubs in Hollywood. They often had all ages shows.

The bands I saw there as a teenager are too many to count. Black Flag, Minutemen, Meat Puppets, Gone, St. Vitus, Pandoras, Leaving Trains, Nip Drivers. It was the place I first met Mike Watt. There were about 50 people at the U-Roy show, including Life In Hell creator Matt Groening and Sugarcubes’ Bjork.

On this night, we opened for the Jeff Dahl Group, Lazy Cowgirls, and L7.

The Music Machine building with its iconic signage still stands. The marquee now reads “Electric Supply Connection Wholesale”.
