Dishes 02:37
I don't know why The people fight amongst themselves The man in my dream he said "You'd better watch those gates, boy." Adin in my dream he said "We go now." The people of these America of the United States Are in for a big shock

Los Tumbos 05:03
The blue turns into grey The grey turns into black And we all know that the ocean won't be back Man's pollution Neptune's gallow A submarine attack Trees can be cut down But man can't cut down water So he fills the ocean with his waste And laughing while not caring About mother nature's fate
4.
In The World 02:46
In the world Is the earth And my mind Is outside Of my brain In my thoughts In the earth Of the world The existence of time Is the basis of a funny joke The nonexistence of man's laws Is what this song's all about In nature Is natural And the trees Are outside Of my house That we call home A concrete slab On the earth I breathe time

Vision Pit 02:51
6.
I don't want a black sun From life watch humanity run What's this Top Gun? Jah people must be as one
7.
Pave The Way 04:32
Look over yonder What do you see I see cities, factories I feel a pull, deep inside Towards the sun, to the sky I feel the earth under my feet I can hear my heart beat Now I know why I'm alive And I know that we will survive Can you see the city lights At night they do not end The last of the deer look down on this place I wonder if they see the end

S.A.N.D. 03:01
Man and civilization Is leading to total destruction Making bombs from the earth Man can't look into his mind For only sorrow he will find And he knows, it was his choice His choice to live a lie His choice to never try To seek truth and peace of mind To take a stand So he began To count pebbles in the sand

12.
Long forgotten summer In a long forgotten past Of adults who have problems And whose lives will never last Sold out all their values For three piece suits and ties Sold out all their values for ignorance and lies Present, past, or future tense Life is a white picket fence That guards the memories Of an adult's mind Memories of summers past Are so sublime I've got the earth under my feet There are no words to spell defeat There is no time to have or lend Because my summers will never end

Oak Harbor 28 August 1988 is one of the few shows Treacherous Jaywalkers played outside of L.A. that I have a photo from. I’m standing on stage, wearing two-tone swim trunks and my orange Reggae Beat KCRW T-shirt, holding my Yamaha bass and smiling at the camera. Behind me, above the drum set, hangs a sign with the name of the venue, Babylon, an irony that I don’t think escaped any of us at the time.

Someone in the audience yells out that they’re videotaping our set. I don’t remember if any other bands were on the bill, or where we stayed after the show. We drove to Seattle the next day, where we played at the Vogue with Nirvana. The recording of that show can be downloaded for free from: treacherousjaywalkers.bandcamp.com/album/treacherous-jaywalkers-the-vogue-seattle-wa-29-august-1988.

Babylon Music and Art was a short-lived all-ages venue and retail store that during the late 1980s took over a former historic movie theater. It closed soon afterwards, fell into disrepair, and burned in a suspicious fire. The building was demolished in 2007.
